Sri Kothandram Swami Trust conducted its eight Shirdi Sai Baba Poojai and Velakku Poojai on 1st Jan 2014 at Panigraha Kalyana Mandapam, West Mambalam, Chennai.
The central concept of the Poojai was:
- To pray for peace and prosperity
- To bring religious harmony in our community
- To enrich our lives spiritually

It was told that Shirdi Baba received a stone as a gift from his Guru, Sri Venkusa. Now, did Swamiji too receive one such here during the Poojai??? I'll leave that for you to judge.
Approximately a thousand devotees participated in the function and partook of the pradam at the end of it.
